ESQUIMALT ROAD URBAN DESIGN GUIDELINES

UFA led a consultant team that was retained by the Township of Esquimalt to prepare a set of urban design guidelines for Esquimalt Road, to support revitalization and beautification initiatives along this main corridor as one of Esquimalt Council’s strategic priorities. Our work included a transportation analysis, a land economics analysis, and detailed design guidelines for both built form and the public realm. The process included extensive community and stakeholder consultation, including workshops with staff, property and business owners.
